Last week, we explored the theme of contentment. However, there is a “flip-side” of that… discontent. What might be called a “holy discontent”. Holy discontent is a feeling of dissatisfaction with the status quo that is motivated by a desire to see God’s kingdom come on earth. It is a call to action. It’s a reminder that we are not called to be comfortable. We are called to be agents of change. We are called to something beyond our current situation.
Today’s Theme: Discontent
Quote
If I find in myself a desire that no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world.
