Today’s Theme: Burnout
Quote
“Burnout is nature’s way of telling you, you’ve been going through the motions and your soul has departed; you’re a zombie, a member of the walking dead, a sleepwalker. False optimism is like administering stimulants to an exhausted nervous system.”
– Sam Keen
“Leaders who insulate themselves from others and choose to bear their burdens single-handedly are destined for loneliness and burnout. Leaders, like everyone else, need friends and perhaps in light of the load they carry, even more so.”
– Richard Blackaby
