You’ve probably seen those apps that promise to train your brain and increase your intellectual capacity. It’s a little difficult to say for sure whether or not they actually work. While some argue that these apps, or solving puzzles or using memory techniques might improve specific skills, others disagree. In general, engaging in cognitively demanding activities is beneficial to your brain; yet, it is unclear if specific “brain training” will improve your general intelligence.
